USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) allows mobile subscribers to access GEL SACCO services directly from their phone without requiring an active internet connection or smartphone application. It is supported on both basic feature phones and smartphones.

GELSACCO Mobile Loans offer instant liquidity via your mobile phone. Key features include:

  • Access Code: Dial *250*102# to request a loan.
  • Loan Limit: Qualify for up to 80% of your total savings (Maximum limit: KSh 100,000).
  • Interest Rate: 5% monthly on a reducing balance basis.
  • Repayment Period: Up to a maximum of 5 months.
  • Security: Secured against your existing SACCO savings balance.

  • Earn annual interest rebates and dividend payouts based on your savings.
  • Access competitive, low-interest credit facilities tailored to your needs.
  • Access instant emergency loans via USSD disbursed directly to your M-Pesa account.

Registration is quick and seamless. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit our portal at www.gelsacco.co.ke.
  2. Click on Join Sacco.
  3. Complete the online membership application form.
  4. Upload the required identification documents.
  5. Pay the KSh 1,000 registration fee.
  6. Begin contributing your monthly savings to activate full benefits.

To qualify for a loan facility, members must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Maintain active membership for at least 3 consecutive months.
  • Demonstrate a consistent savings track record.
  • Meet the specific criteria defined for the requested loan product.

You can easily reset your password using these steps:

  1. Navigate to the login page and click Forgot Password.
  2. Select your designated User Type.
  3. Enter your registered National ID / Passport number.
  4. Click Reset.
  5. Check your registered phone or email for a secure reset verification code.
  6. Enter the verification code to set your new password.
